Problem with GOlib

Postby Peter » Thu Jan 19, 2006 8:20

I was trying to use the GO Term Finder.
I downloded the GO files as described in the Functional Genomics white paper and caled the python function to build the files required by the GO Term Finder widget.
I get the following:

Code: Select all
>>> GOlib.txtGO2pickle('200601','./GO')
Term definitions:
        read 19363 term definitons
        skipped 996 obsolete definitions
        read 1 relation type definitions: [(2, 'is_a')]

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
  File "GOlib.py", line 564, in txtGO2pickle
    childrenList = GOIDtoGOID[term1IDaspect].get(GOID1, [])
KeyError: 'biological_process'

Any ideas what is wrong here?
