Imputation errors on trunk build 2.0b

Postby x0ner » Sun May 06, 2012 21:18

I am trying to use some of the imputation classes, but it appears they are not where they used to be. I performed a "dir" on the import and got the following:

Code: Select all
>>> dir(Orange.feature.imputation)
['ImputeClassifier', 'ImputeLearner', 'ImputerConstructor_asValue', 'ImputerConstructor_average', 'ImputerConstructor_maximal', 'ImputerConstructor_minimal', 'ImputerConstructor_model', 'Imputer_defaults', 'Imputer_model', 'Orange', '__builtins__', '__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', '__package__', 'orange']

Code: Select all
>>> dir(Orange.data)
['Domain', 'Instance', 'StringValue', 'SymMatrix', 'Table', 'Type', 'Value', '__builtins__', '__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', '__package__', '__path__', 'io', 'new_meta_id', 'sample', 'variable']

Is this code path currently being re-written? Is it possible to achieve the same results as listed in the examples using the older "orange" library. Doing a "dir" on "orange" reveals a lot more methods with it being unclear which path to go down. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes the imputation was re-written. And you seem to be using an old version. Can you please update to the latest nightly build (http://orange.biolab.si/download/)?
