64bit orange

Postby ghyan » Tue May 08, 2012 1:40

Hi:

Following the previous question I had, it seems that Orange can be run on in the 32-bit mode on my mac. If I use the latest 64bit Python, I got the following error when I was trying to import orange:

/Applications/Orange.app/Contents/Resources/orange/orange.so: no matching architecture in universal wrapper

Is there any 64bit version of orange for mac?

Many thanks.

Are you using the latest version of Orange?
The current Orange bundle for Mac OSX runs in 64 bit mode by default (for a couple of months now).

I checked the gui version of orange, and it is version 2.0b that was built on Jan 25, 2012. Does it have 64bit support? In any case, I will reinstall Orange to get the latest updates. Thanks.
