Can't read file

Postby theruben » Sun May 20, 2012 1:35

I'm new to this product and forum so please excuse any mistakes :-(

My question is: When I go to load a .tsv file downloaded from a standard data supplier like the icpsr http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/ICPSR/

It gives me an error like this: [...] is being loaded as .tab but looks more like a .txt file
(attribute [...] is defined as having only one value [...])

Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong? If anyone can help I would really like to be able to use this program.

Thanks

See http://orange.biolab.si/doc/reference/Orange.data.formats/ for a description of the preffered orange data format. You can still load the ordinary tsv file with a single header, just save it as a .txt file.
