Problem accessing Orange.classification.neural

Postby sreastman » Mon Feb 18, 2013 15:39

I get the following error when I try to access Orange.classification.neural.NeuralNetworkLearner():

AttributeError: 'module object has no attribute 'neural'

To ensure I did not have a typo, I copied and pasted 'Orange.classification.neural' from the fifth item on the following Orange documentation page: http://orange.biolab.si/docs/latest/py-modindex/

I also checked my installation directory and the module appears to be there. I use the standard import Orange statement at the top of my script file. I notice the GUI does not have a widget for Neural Networks.

Any ideas on the cause of the problem or what I need to be doing differently?

Thanks--Steve

This seems to be the same problem as reported here. Make sure you are running the latest development version of Orange. This error should be fixed there.

Thanks Ales.

That took care of it.
