"Cannot Determine Attribute Type" - How to get around?

Postby Zelbinian » Mon Mar 04, 2013 19:14

So for a tab-delimited .txt file I have (created from an .xlsx which was originally from MS SQL Server), Orange seems to have failed to load the data simply because there exists a column of empty values. Yes, I can just delete the column, but I'm going to be getting dozens of these to work with and I'd like to be able to tell Orange "It's ok, just skip it." Can I do that?

You can export into orange ".tab" file and add 'ignore' flag to the domain definition (see)
For example create a column like this
Code: Select all
some_name
d
ignore
