compilation fails with "TYPE’ was not declared" ubuntu 12.04

Postby lefterav » Fri Apr 19, 2013 18:27

Hi,

I am running a pip install orange in an Ubuntu 12.04. g++ and build-essentials are install. Despite that, I am getting this error and installation fails.

Code: Select all
In file included from source/orange/filter.cpp:35:0:

source/orange/ppp/filter.ppp:11:80: error: ‘TYPE’ was not declared in this scope

    source/orange/ppp/filter.ppp:11:80: error: expected primary-expression before ‘)’ token

source/orange/ppp/filter.ppp:11:80: error: expected ‘)’ before numeric constant

    source/orange/ppp/filter.ppp:11:122: error: expected ‘)’ before ‘}’ token

source/orange/ppp/filter.ppp:12:121: error: ‘TYPE’ was not declared in this scope

    source/orange/ppp/filter.ppp:12:121: error: expected primary-expression before ‘)’ token

source/orange/ppp/filter.ppp:12:121: error: expected ‘)’ before numeric constant

Any suggestion what I can do to solve the problem?

It compiles fine for me.

Do you also have numpy installed (python-numpy package)? Although I would expect the error to be different if it was missing.
