Issues installing Orange on Windows XP

Postby Gonzalo » Tue Dec 17, 2013 17:15

Hi,
I'm trying to use the "Snapshot of Orange with Python 2.7 and required libraries” at the Download page to install Orange in my Windows XP laptop, but I get the following error message when launching the installer:
"NSIS Error
The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy."

Could you please help me to get a correct installer?

Thanks a lot,
Gonzalo

I can't duplicate this. Are you sure the download competed successfully?

I don't see signs (error messages, etc) of an incomplete download, although I'm not sure. Do you know how can I know it?

I have tried several times and also from home (using a Windows 8 PC) and get always the same message when trying to run the install.

Thanks a lot

I could run a succesful installation now. It must be some firewall thing.
Thanks

We had some problems with the server. Could you try to download it again? Thanks, Marko
