Can I use (self-made) canvas widgets from Python scripts?

Postby Gerenuk » Thu Apr 24, 2014 19:45

I'd like to use Python scripts for most analysis, but I also enjoy the visual canvas widgets.
What - do you think - is the easiest way to start up a widget from a plain Python script? For example I have some data I want to see in the sieve confusion matrix.

Is there also a (easy) way to create my own visualization widgets? For example creating own informative plots and visualizations.

There is documentation for creating your own widgets.

I'd probably use the python script widgets to integrate ones own python code and widgets.
