Orange Canvas on Windows 7

Postby ekido » Wed Jul 09, 2014 16:30

Hello everyone,

I know many people have asked about this, but I couldn't find a solution for this problem. I downloaded and installed the full Orange package and it worked fine. However, I tried to start the Orange Canvas today and nothing happens. It's odd because it was working just fine and I haven't done any modifications on my PC since then, so I'm really clueless about what might be the problem. Can any one help me?

I ran C:\Python27\python.exe -m Orange.OrangeCanvas.main and got this:

C:\Users\Erica>C:\Python27\python.exe -m Orange.OrangeCanvas.main

Try removing the Orange Canvas settings file. This is located in '%APPDATA%\biolab.si\Orange Canvas.ini', which usually expands to 'C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\biolab.si\Orange Canvas.ini' on Window 7.
The quickest way to do this is just to run
Code: Select all
del '%APPDATA%\biolab.si\Orange Canvas.ini'
from the command prompt.
