formats of datasets can be loaded by Orange?

Postby xuewei » Mon Feb 20, 2006 14:37

I am a newcomer for Orange, and have to say sorry for this basic questions.

I have one real dataset, including 34 instances and 40 continuous variables, and want to analyze this dataset using orange. but after i arranged the data with "tab" delimiter in one .txt file, I failed to load it !

could anyone please help me about this questions? what are the detailed step to load my real dataset?

thanks your attentions in advance!

How did it fail? What does it say?

This page doesn't help - http://www.ailab.si/orange/doc/reference/tabdelimited.htm?

Have you looked at the data sets in the documentation that comes with Orange?

Can you show us the first few lines of your data set (if it's not confidential)?

(Do you hate it when somebody answers you with nothing but questions? :-)
