trying to compile orange-source-0.9.64

Postby federicob » Fri Sep 01, 2006 17:25

I am using the Microsoft VC++ 6.0 under windows Xp and i can´t compile the orange source. (orange-source-0.9.64)
After I have downloaded and installed the Pyton 2.3 for windows i don´t have same files that i need to compile the project.

One of the steps of the debugging_orange.txt guide says:
"- Open c:\Python23\PCbuild\pcbuild.dsw with Visual Studio".

But in the folder that i installed the python, i only have the following folders:
Python23\DLLS
Python23\Doc
Python23\include
Python23\Lib
Python23\libs
Python23\tcl
Python23\Tools

how I can obtain the Python\PCbuild files? They come with Python 2.3 version?

Thank you very much.

Federico, read more carefully. You skipped

- Download Python sources and unzip them.
