What's the current state on pickling orange objects?

The manual says it's not possible, a forum post from june tells about a bug and advises against doing it, and trying it with a Bayes classifier just gives me a zero byte file.

I want to use a Naive Bayes classifier in my diploma thesis project. But i need to call the classifier very often and on several computers, so i thought pickling it and putting the pickle on all machines would be best. Retraining it every time is simply too slow, my training data set is HUGE.

Is there some hope pickling will be available soon? Or another idea how to make classifiers persistent?
