Using 64 bit systems...?

Postby Guest » Thu Jun 04, 2009 22:18

I have a 64 bit system that's running Window's Vista. Is it ok to run the orange package that's meant for 32 bit machines? Or (what would be better), is there a version for 64 bit machines? I also put an old version of Python and SciPy on it (2.5) because that's what Orange recommended; and there wasn't a version of those for 64 bit machines either. I have been having difficulty loading my data via Python (it only works with very small subsets of my data), and then when I run that small data table through the BayesLearner I get the error...

orange.KernelException: 'orange.ConditionalProbabilityEstimatorConstructor_loess': distribution (of attibute values, probably) is empty of has only a single value

Any suggestions?

Thank you!!
