Bayes classifier for continious data

Postby bgbg » Wed Jun 17, 2009 14:09

Hello,
How are continious data treated in bayes classifier?

Is there a way to receive a string representation of such a model?
"string representation" doesn't mean serialization, but a string one can publish in a paper or a report.

Continuous probabilities are fitted using LOESS. You can only publish a curve (e.g. the one you get in a nomogram), the only possible string representation would be a large bunch of numbers.
