Orange newbie help

Postby paul » Thu Dec 17, 2009 20:56

Hi
Just started using Orange and must say it is looking great. I hope someone would be willing to answer my questions:

- Can I import .csv files into orange using the "file" node?
If so, how?

- How does one specify the outcome (independent) and input variables?
I tried running models like random forest but I didn't see any fields where I can tell the model what the input and outputs are.

- How do you specify the measurement level of a variable like for example nominal, ordinal, continous, binary etc.?

-Are there any "how to" examples and tutorials unsing the GUI?

Thanks !!
