Does orange require that all datasets reside in main memory?

Postby jhu_data_miner » Mon Jan 01, 2001 14:03

Hello

I'm new to orange, and have not really used it. I was just curious if orange requires all the datasets to reside in main memory, or are there built in methods to adjust for datasets that cannot reside in main memory? Specifically I'm interested to knowing about dissimilarity matrices for use with MDS (multi-dimensional scaling)

Thanks!

Yes all datasets must be loaded in memory, including dissimilarity matrices.
