Is Orange compatible with PyQt4 ?

No, Orange currently uses Qt 3.x .
The plan is to port it to Qt 4 sometime in the future, as soon as the developers can afford to spend the time needed for the port.

the Guest unfortunately didn't write a correct reply.

I am currently actively porting Orange to PyQt4 and there is already a branch on the cvs that uses it. You can download it. Branch name is "Qt4".

Warning: Many things don't work yet in this version. There is a big difference between Qt 2.3 (which Orange currently uses) and Qt 4.2 and it will take some time to fix everything.

Best regards,

Maybe I can help a bit in crash testing & stuff, I have done some (small work) in PyQt (4.2.3)

I could not checkout the code for some reason. I used
cvs -d "" co -r Qt4 source

but then I get an empty source directory.
Am I missing something ? (Sorry, I don't have much exp using cvs)

There is no Qt4 branch in the CVS module 'source' since the C++ part is the same. It's module 'orange' that you need to checkout.
