Recover excluded variable

Postby sapienza » Tue Oct 02, 2007 11:29

I have a problem: for the analysis of data mining i have excluded some unnecessary variables from my dataset using the widget "select attribute", included the variable ID which identifies univocally every example, and at the end of the analysis i used a test learners which goes in a confusion matrix.

Now i would like to highlight who are the misclassified examples, and i saved them in a data table, output of the confusion matrix. But this way i've lost the ID: how can i get it back for the misclassified example from the confusion matrix?is there a way to do this?

Thanks for the help

Instead of excluding the variable, put it among meta attributes. Learning algorithms ignore them, but they remain in the data so you can pull them back with another Select Attributes widget.
