The latest snapshot works for me on both Mac OS X and Windows Xp.

Can you post the text from the Orange Canvas output window when it starts.

I've tried it in a third computer, woth another Linux different from Ubuntu (Arch Linux) and the visualize tab still does not show. In addition to that, I've discovered that on the three computers, some widgets does not appear (like hierarchical clustering, SOM visualization...).

The otuput of running the canvas is:

$ python /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/orange/OrangeCanvas/orngCanvas.pyw
/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/orange/OrangeWidgets/Unsupervised/OWHierarchicalClustering.py:10: DeprecationWarning: the sets module is deprecated
from sets import Set

That's all, no errors :\
