Postby aonlazio » Wed May 05, 2010 16:10

Hi,
This seems to consistently produce crash on Windows
d = orange.DomainDepot()
names = ['C#sepal_length', 'C#sepal_width', 'C#petal_length', 'C#petal_width', 'cD#iris']
domain,metaIDs,isNew = d.prepareDomain(names) <--- Cause of Crash
I need this module to work, please help! Or you have alternative solution?

Thanks

I forgot to mention, I discovered this bug when using orngMySQL.py (at line ~ 285)

Postby hugo_koopmans » Fri May 07, 2010 17:27

this seems related to my post on the bug when running the example from the website :
bus.sql
I get error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/hugo/python/test-mysql.py", line 4, in <module>
data = t.query ("SELECT * FROM bus WHERE line='10'")
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/orange/orngMySQL.py", line 271, in query
domain, metaIDs, isNew = self.SQLDomainDepot.prepareDomain(names)

any help appriciated

hugo

This was a nasty one.

Fixed. Update from SVN and rebuild, or wait for tomorrow's snapshot if you're on Windows.
