Build error

Postby blazt » Sun Jun 13, 2010 12:12

For a few latest snapshot packages (including latest onne 2010-06-07) I couldn't bouild orange. Every time I get the same error:

g++ -fPIC -fpermissive -w -DLINUX -DORANGE_EXPORTS -O3 -march=native -mtune=native -O2 -pipe -c lib_components.cpp -o obj/lib_components.o
lib_components.cpp: In function 'int DomainContingency_getItemIndex(PyObject*, PyObject*)':
lib_components.cpp:1262:86: error: cannot pass objects of non-trivially-copyable type 'struct std::string' through '...'
make[1]: *** [obj/lib_components.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/abs/local/python-orange/src/source/orange'
make: *** [all] Error 1

I am using gcc-4.5.0 on Archlinux 64-bit and build instructions are located here:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python-orange/python-orange/PKGBUILD

PS: orange is also in Archlinux community unsupported repository if you want to include that info on your webpage:
