Is Orange Canvas 64-bit available?

Postby liaokei » Sun Oct 14, 2012 10:04

Hi all,
I am using Orange Canvas, and the it often throws exception about "'orange.ExampleTable.resize': out of memory". And then I have to restart my Orange Canvas.
So I am wondering how Orange Canvas work with very big data set. Is there 64-bit Orange Canvas available?

We promised a 64 bit windows build some time ago, but right now that plan is on the back burner.
You might try Christoph Gohlke 64-bit unofficial builds http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/

I'm running into the same issue, so I'd agree that a 64-bit build for Windows would be great.

I'll have a try at installing Christoph Gohlke's distribution, but it's not as nicely bundled as the official distributions and it's also slightly out of date.
