Problem with first attempt to import orange

Postby sreastman » Wed Nov 28, 2012 2:37

I have just downloaded orange and the recommended downloads onto my Windows 7 system, accepting all defaults. When I typed "import Orange" I received the following message:

"User warning: Some features will be disabled due to failing modules. Importing 'regression.lasso' failed: No module named scipy.linalg"

I have also tried this with a Windows 7 computer at work and have exactly the same problem.

How do I address this? Is it possible there is a problem with the latest download?

Thanks. What Python subdirectory should I put it in?
