Multiple Learnings of Naive Bayes Classifier

Postby Miserlou » Thu Dec 06, 2012 20:20

Howdy folks!

I've got a question about the NB that I couldn't find an answer to - any chance you guys can help me out?

Is there anyway to persist the internal state of a Naive Bayes Classifier and have it learn multiple data inputs? I have a lot of data, and the data is continuously growing, and I don't want to have to refit it every single time. This is something that scikit-learn can't do, for the curious.

[Also, is it possible to load data from a normal python dictionary? None of the examples show how to do this, but I assume it's fairly trivial, right?]

Thanks very much!,
