Does K-Nearest Neighbor still work for regression?

Postby sreastman » Mon Feb 25, 2013 21:00

K-Nearest Neighbor used to be available for both classification and regression.

Since the switch from orange to Orange, is it still available for regression? If so, does it work for both continuous and discrete features?

Thanks--Steve

Yes, Orange.classification.knn basically just aliases the old classes that were (and still are) in the old orange module.

Although I see that the corresponding Orange.regression.knn module is missing (similar to 'Orange.regression.tree' it should just share the same implementation)

Thanks Ales. I've been away for a couple weeks.
