Dealing directly with C++ routines

Postby vginer » Mon Dec 12, 2005 21:07

I know that it's not the usual way, but... If I was interested in using just the C++ routines that are "behind" Orange... how difficult would it be? There is enough documention about that?

By the way... (sorry if this is a silly question) Is the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) or backpropagation neural network for classification/prediction implemented in Orange?

Thank you in advance.

There is no specific documentation on using C++ classes directly, but most Python classes are directly mirrored from C++ classes, so Python documentation for Orange should help. But I wouldn't recommend doing it, you'd run into to many problems with garbage collection etc.

If I understood you wrong and you'd just want to add new methods for Orange in C, take a look at the unpublished ... erface.htm.

Regarding, MLP, see
