Segfault after upgrade to Ubuntu 12.10

Reported by: DrAA Owned by: ales
Milestone: Component: library
Severity: immediate Keywords: segmentation fault svm

After upgrading from Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10, the python engine crashes at exist if importing certain classes. For example:

> python -c "from Orange.classification.svm import SVMLearner; print 'foo'"
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Note that the 'foo' print out still works, so it is only at program exist that the segfault occurs. Here are additional details about the system used:

> lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 12.10
Release: 12.10
Codename: quantal
> uname -a
Linux arpteg8 3.5.0-17-generic #28-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 9 19:31:23 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Please ask if additional details are needed. Since we love Orange here at Campanja, we would appreciate a swift resolution to this problem.

I think this should now be fixed in our main repo (f21cde875fe9). Can you test it and see if it works.
